Information from Webpage
"We at 13-2 and Region 10 are pleased to welcome you to the 2019 Combat Veterans' Motorcycle Association National Meet, to be held in Boise, Idaho, also known as the "City of Trees." Boise is situated in the high desert of Idaho, and although it is Idaho's Capitol city, it has retained it's small town atmosphere while providing a vibrant downtown and an urban experience that is comparable to large cities.
Boise is also unique as we are a just a short ride to the beautiful mountains and outdoor recreation. There are plenty of scenic riding routes for you to experience while here on your stay, from a couple-hour ride, to and all day adventure into northern Stanley, Idaho. We are intending to furnish a "ride book" for your convenience to pick and choose some of these rides to fully enjoy our stay while at the CVMA Nationals."
THE RIVERSIDE HOTEL:
The Riverside Hotel, which is the host hotel, and Red Lion Hotel, the overflow hotel, are both just a heartbeat away from downtown.
The distance between the two hotels is less than a mile, and both have ample parking arrangements.
Please take advantage of the blocked rooms we have secured for your convenience at both of these outstanding hotels.
These hotels are also conveniently located 8 miles from the Boise airport. So come and enjoy your stay in the great state of Idaho!

Brothers & sisters,
It is that time again. Our monthly meeting for February. Pending any issues we will start out at 1000 in an OPEN meeting. I do not anticipate a ton of information. I will have agendas out as soon as I can. I started the past 2 weeks pretty busy with work. I have already coordinated the VFW. YES they will have their staff meeting but Gil has assured me that it will not affect our meeting as they will be in the mini conference room. In addition I know that our brother Stacy has an event for tombstone cleaning at the cemetery. I understand that some of you will be attending that and that is totally understandable. I have to drive on with normal battle rhythm for the masses and conduct business as usual. In addition our State Rep will be visiting us during this meeting. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience. I will see you Saturday! Respectfully.
FYI 👀 : To one and all - Westside LInk up will be at the DairyQueen at 375/Trans Mtn and the I-10 at 09:00 with KSU at 09:15.

Good morning brothers and sisters!
On Saturday the video crew from “Vino Nuevo” Christian Church will come to our meeting to video shoot for their international conference video introduction.
So they video Crew will be there at 9 am, I appreciate all your help!
They are gonna focus on video recording the bikes so they don’t need you with a specific attire.
Please let me know if you would like to participate in this by replying in this post.
PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERY VETERAN ORGANIZATION SO THEY CAN SHARE AND WE CAN SERVE MORE VETERANS.
On Monday, MLK Day, there will be a resource/health fair for veterans at the One Stop Center on Diana.
There will be agencies there who: Provide clothing, food and even pet food; who assist veterans with money to pay rent and utility bills; who assist veterans with filling claims for disability with the V.A.; who help with substance abuse issues (in and out patient services both); provide mental heath counseling for veterans and their family members; who help veterans prepare resumes and find jobs; who can provide help with watching a veterans child or children while you take care of yourself; who work for our new Congresswoman and who can help you resolve issues with federal agencies; who will perform screenings and health assessments on the spot for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, substance abuse issues, diabetes and who will provide referrals and information to help you take better care of yourself.
There will also be items that will be raffled to those veterans attending: Prizes include two Gruntstyle shirts, two nights at Woodspring Suites, Walmart gift card, basket of snacks, Home Depot gift card, Starbucks cards.
So please come make use of this resource, make some good contacts and get some good information for yourself and your family.
“Brothers & sisters,
It is that time again. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got to spend some good quality time with family and friends. We are starting a new year and this will be our first chapter meeting of 2019. We will have a CLOSED portion to this meeting for full voting members starting at 1000. I intend on this lasting about an hour. Immediately after we will have an OPEN meeting. I know sometimes this is tough but it is the nature of our organization. I always appreciate your patience and understanding. I will have both open & closed agendas out to you by e-mail appropriately before the meeting. Respectfully.”
