Funeral Services for a local Veteran - Support

A Local veteran has passed away and the family is asking for attendance. If you can attend please do so.

#vetshelpingvets

(Information shared by his son -Christopher Anaya)

"Hello, my father Erminio Joe Anaya 91 yrs old was a Korean and Vietnam era vet.

He served in the air force and he passed away this last Saturday 9/14/19.

We don't have much family and I'm his only living son. I've reached out to the few friends we have left for his services but I don't know if it is possible for you guys to attend his services or if you could point me in the right direction.

He loved motorcycles and loved God and his country very much. I would want to have him at least surrounded by them on the day of his services or at least at the cemetery. I don't know if it's possible but figured I would ask.

His services are this Friday 9/20/19. Viewing is at San Jose funeral home east on 10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935 from 10:30-11:30am.

Mass at most Holy Trinity on 10000 Pheasant Rd, El Paso, TX 79924 in the Northeast area at 12:40 pm and Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2pm.

I reached out to patriot guard riders but it's a very last-minute deal and I think they have a mission out of town that day.

I was just reaching out to invite anyone that can make it out, Thank you!"

July Meeting and Chapter Officers' Elections

By Mark "uno mas" Flynn:

"As you all know, we have our monthly chapter meeting next Saturday, July 13 at our regular spot VFW Post 812. During this meeting we will hold elections for some of our chapter officers - including our Commander.

Your voice needs to be heard with your votes so PLEASE make every effort to come to the meeting!!

FYI....the policy that prevented Jeffrey Cortes from running for Commander is NO LONGER IN EFFECT!! He is eligible to run for an officer position and this has been confirmed by the NBOD.

If you only attend one meeting this year, please, make it THIS ONE!!

Thank you all for your dedication to the CVMA and 23-2."

Boise is situated in the high desert of Idaho, and although it is Idaho's Capitol city, it has retained it's small town atmosphere while providing a vibrant downtown and an urban experience that is comparable to large cities.

Boise is also unique as we are a just a short ride to the beautiful mountains and outdoor recreation. There are plenty of scenic riding routes for you to experience while here on your stay, from a couple-hour ride, to and all day adventure into northern Stanley, Idaho. We are intending to furnish a "ride book" for your convenience to pick and choose some of these rides to fully enjoy our stay while at the CVMA Nationals."
